Built inside a real Sydney tower
Watchdog Strata started as the resident app for one high-rise building and grew into software for every Australian apartment building.
Why we built it
In a large residential tower, the building manager is the person everyone calls. New tenants, lost cards, leaks, parcels, contractor quotes and owners who live overseas all arrive through different channels. The information exists, but it’s scattered across email threads, spreadsheets and the concierge desk.
Watchdog Strata puts it in one record. Owners keep their tenant lists current, residents report issues with evidence, and the building manager approves rather than retypes.
What we believe
- Say what it does, and what it doesn’t. We list the features we don’t have, so buildings can decide quickly.
- Respect residents’ privacy. Owners see building issues without seeing who reported them.
- Work in the languages residents read. English and Simplified Chinese from day one.
Who we are
Watchdog Strata is built and operated by Prox Access Pty Ltd (ABN 32 162 575 457), a Sydney company that has worked in building access control and security since 2013. That background is why access cards, guest access and who-lives-where are at the centre of the product.
Where we are
Our first building is Aspect at APX World Square in the Sydney CBD. We serve buildings across Australia under strata, body corporate and owners corporation schemes.
